Welcome to XMB Garage!.
XMB Garage is focused on providing hack installations for users of the XMB forum software, and the support of said installations performed by XMBG Staff. All hacks will be installed by XMBG Installers.
You will be required to give XMB Garage your FTP and CPanel access information to allow the installer to sign up at your site. The installer will be made a Super Administrator to allow them access to the Administration Control Panel of your forums, enabling access your forum templates, forum files and forum database. Your access information will be provided to XMB Garage by a secure form located in each request forum. It is extremely important that the access information you provide is accurate, as the Request System has checks in place to verify your login information. If the information is incorrect the form will not process. If you cannot provide your access information, we cannot and will not help you. Do not send u2u's to the staff asking for help. Also, if an XMBG Staff Member has given you an answer to your inquiry, and it is not to your satisfaction, DO NOT send u2u's to other XMBG staff asking the same thing. This will put you at risk of getting banned or your account terminated.
ALL HACK REQUESTS ARE TO BE SUBMITTED VIA THE REQUEST SYSTEM. XMB Garage will not do hack installations that are not requested through the request system. All additional hacks listed in the comment box of the request form or received via u2u will be ignored.
If it is determined that requested hacks have already had an installation attempt made by anyone other than XMB Garage staff, XMB Garage reserves the right to deny the installation until all remnants of the previous attempt have been removed. XMB Garage also reserves the right to refuse an installation request if it discovered that your forum is not in proper working order. Additional charges will be incurred if we are required to clean up problems or repair improper hack installations.
For the best results, we recommend that you have only XMB Garage staff work on your site. Using multiple XMB support related sites may cause conflicts and possible overwriting of files after our work has been done. If you request support assistance with issues caused by anyone other than XMBG, site owners included, there will be charges incurred to repair any damage. It is also not advisable to give your access information to your ftp and hosting to too many people.
We appreciate our customers and want to protect you as much as possible from experiencing unnecessary and unwarranted problems on their sites. At XMBG, we believe our paying members deserve fast response and reliable service. That is what sets us apart from other XMB support sites - your satisfaction is of utmost importance to us, and we are proud to be your chosen support site.
XMB Garage is not responsible for any damage that may result from the use of hacks and modifications. All hacks and modifications have been tested prior to release and are all deemed stable. All new work is tested and approved before being released. We will update and/or enhance hacks upon request, but charges may incur if the job is one of substantial content and work involved. This will be determed by the XMB Garage developers.
Public support for all hack related problems are to be handled only in the appropriate forum. XMBG is now a private site, and we want all customers to have a pleasant experience. This is a (private) public forum where you can ask for help and, if an XMBG Member (not staff) wants to offer help, then they can. This will be totally on a volunteer basis by the membership of this site. If you want to help out then feel free to do so and please do so in a professional and courteous manner. DO NOT U2U STAFF FOR GENERAL SUPPORT. This will not be tolerated. Please start all support in the forums. The only exceptions will be if a Staff Member requests information from you such as site or ftp access, etc. Only give your access information to XMBG Staff. Do not give it out to anyone else. XMBG will not be held responsible if you give your access to anyone but staff and problems or damage results.
Please abide by the posting guidelines displayed in each forum and only post appropriately in the proper areas. All inappropriate posts will be ignored and removed. All misplaced posts will be moved to the appropriate area. Please be mindful of your posting habits. This will greatly help us to keep things in a neat and orderly fashion for every member's convenience.
Please be respectful of XMB Garage Staff and other XMB Garage members. Rude, discourteous and disruptive behavior will result in warnings, suspension of priviledges and ultimately termination of your membership and permanent banning of your IP address. Flaming, and flamefests, will not be tolerated here and will be dealt with swiftly and sternly. There will be no negotiating. Simply put, you cause trouble, you're gone. If you have a disagreement about something or a problem with XMBG, any staff member, or any member, it will be handled in an adult and civil manner. There are free sites that are breeding grounds for this type of behavior, and we do not want you to be subjected to such things.
Abuse of the system and misuse of the forms will also result in warnings, banning and termination depending on the nature of the offense. Do not submit fraudulent installation request forms as all IP addresses are logged by the site and by the email form. Requests that are submitted will go through a payment process through Paypal. Unless otherwise instructed by this site's administrator to bypass the payment process all requests are required to go through the complete process, including receipt by XMB Garage of payment confirmation through our system. No request will be accepted without payment confirmation.
