I hope it's ok to bump this old thread... But I just wanted to say thanks to Jim for all the hacks and everything. If it wasn't for XMBGarage, I'd have given up on XMB Forum a long while ago. I'm happily running a 1.9.5 forum, with no intention of upgrading to 1.9.8., and XMBG has had everything I've been looking for.

Thank you very much for the kind words. But please think about what's more important - hacks or security. Hacks can always be replaced, data cannot. Unless, of course, you do your daily backup. I know right now I only have about 20% of the hacks for 1.9.8 but I will be getting back on that very soon.

Yes I'm aware of the security issues. But my forum is pretty small and only has a dozen active members, so I must admit I'm not really afraid of being hacked or anything. Cause if it happens, there won't be major loss. Regardless, yes I do very frequent backups.
