[Resolved] Board upgrade Request?

I'm trying to upgrade my forum. I have the 1.9.8 Final SP2 to XMB 1.9.5 Nexus(final)

With XMB 1.9.8 Final SP2, You can install alot of hack. :smash:

You're not trying to upgrade, you're trying to downgrade. This is not advisable since it's wise to always use the latest stable version of any software. Plus I just installed hacks to your site not an hour ago and you're wanting to wipe out my work already. This does not make me very happy at all. You should have thought about this before having hacks installed. I wouldn't mind so much if you had offered to pay for hacks to be installed like you did at another site. But when I do it for free and someone wants to immediately wipe out my work that makes me not want to install hacks for you. Who's to say, and I've seen this many times, that if I install hacks and then you install hacks and mess up and the only way out that you see is to restore the board? POOF There goes all my work down the drain. And then you'll come back here wanting them all installed again. As I said, I have seen this type of thing too many times. So bear in mind that doing either of these two things (downgrading or restoring after hacks are installed) may result in your requesting priviliges revoked. Only upgrading a board is really tolerated since security is more important than hacks.

Noooo, i'm trying to downgrade your work. early i went to request another hack from XMB 1.9.8 Final SP2. I didn't see all this list on there.

If a hack isn't in the 1.9.8 list then it is not available yet. I'm slowly updating hacks. But with over 300 and doing it pretty much by myself it's going to take some time.

Those hacks have not yet been upgraded to 1.9.8 SP2, and they may not be for a while, as we generally like to wait till a particular version is stable before investing the time to get the hundreds of hacks we have upgraded. Since there's only two of us doing the majority of the work around here, I think you can understand why having our time wasted is not appreciated.

Unfortunately there's one major difference between 1.9.5 and 1.9.8 that prevents those hacks from working as is for both versions. So you'll just have to wait until they can be upgraded.
