This has been mentioned to several people before, but I'm making this annoucement as part of announcing the new feature we just added.
Some people (and those who have done this know who they are) have registered Multiple accounts. We cannot have this because it messes up our record
keeping system. Most of the time I think this is done because people want a different username. If this is the case, do not register a new account.
Instead you may now request a username change by going to your Preferences and clicking Change Username.
If a user is found to have multiple accounts they will be forced to choose one account, and their records will be merged and the second account
deleted. So if you would like a different username, feel free to request a username change and I will do it for you. This will avoid confusion and
problems in the future.
Well, I requested a username change a few days ago and haven't heard anything, I was just wondering how long is the wait usually for a response?
