[Resolved] Update

Where do I send in a request to update my xmb to 1.9.1 I want to update it but I don't want to lose my themes my forums or my members or the posts, I think I might lose all my hacks, because they do not fit with it, but thats all right, I need it updated just tell me where to go .

Hack data does not have to be lost. We can retain this, then once the hack's are re-installed (Once available, of course) they can use the existing data.

Oh alright, so you guys are makeing it to where when you update it you don't lose hack installing data? So it is possiable for me to update and still have the same forums and the same members, and posts and themes and all that?

If not I don't really care about my hacks, I can just get the new updated ones I just really care about my members, themes forums and posts, because I don't want them all to be deleted out or lost.

The upgrade provided with the download from xmbforum.com will update all tables retaining all data that is standard to the forum. It will drop all extra fields in all tables (money, referrals, nickname etc. etc.).

I have read too many horror stories of people's upgrade's going wrong so I decided to create my own upgrade code (Which is SQL code at the moment). I have used this on two forums and successfully upgraded them with over 30,000 posts and over 30,000 u2u's. I helped one person upgrade over 900,000 posts as the upgrade script that came from xmbforum.com timed out. I have also provided this code to a few other people for there own use, with successful outcomes.

I am currently updating the request form for WormHole which will include installation and upgrade options, which should be available soon.

Okay to make sure I am getting what you mean, you turn all my 1.8 info and update it to 1.9.1 with out loseing members, posts, themes, and ect. You just update it to a higher xmb, without ruining everything else? If so that would be awesome and I can't wait. also send me a u2u when this is ready
